How much does your 3 year old drink?

My 3 year old is getting through around 2L a day at the minute and compared to friend’s children it seems excessive. We have a new fridge with ice maker which is a novelty and so he is constantly wanting his water bottle refilled, but I’m beginning to think that 4 or 5 full bottles a day might be a little much?!

I think mine probably drinks about that too?

In the heat that we have been experiencing, it's good that he is drinking plenty.

My nearly 2.5 year old could drink that much but her nappies leak so often so I try not to let her go over board although don't deny her if she asks for it just don't refill it all the time. It's a difficult one, she'll just gulp the whole bottle down in a oner!!!

My 3 year old barely drinks anything and sometimes we have to resort to squash all day to get her to drink anything at all in hot weather. She doesn't feel thirsty. I'll swap you!
