I have a document I need witnessing, and, as luck would have it, I have a friend coming over tomorrow.
The document relates to personal financial information that I'd rather not go through with her.
If you are asking someone to witness a document, are you asking them literally to witness me signing (no problem) or asking them to "put their name" to what I'm signing - eg understand the content?
