Dinner suggestions cooking in a heat wave

Can anyone suggest some dinner options whilst I'm cracking up in this heat wave?
I cannot stand the thought of slaving over a hot stove at the moment, and am running out of options (and patience!)

Thank you all in advance, I'm getting hot and bothered about the thought of opening the oven and feeling that dreaded heat rush!

We’ve been cooking outside under a parasol. Or you could bung something in a slow cooker.

Salad nicoise. Grilled sausage (on the outdoor barbecue) and corn on the cob. cold salads like chicken salad, fruit salad, regular salad, egg salad, bread and cheese. Fresh tomato and mozzarella sandwiches on very good bread. Other very nice sandwiches.

I quickly stirfry some veg and fish and mix it with couscous. At least it's done in ten minutes.

Grilled salmon or swordfish, kebabs, anything on an outdoor grill is nice--vegetables, chicken, steak, hamburgers, hot dogs, even peaches and pineapple on skewers. A platter of cold meats served with side salads and rolls and crisps and crudite. Sushi.

Pasta salad:

Cook some pasta, towards the end of the cooking process add some peas. Then drain

For the dressing: tomato, chopped, sundried tomatoes, couple tablespoons olive oil, handful of basil leaves and a clove of garlic. Chuck in a food processor and blitz, toss pasta into the dressing, cut up a couple of sundried tomatoes and tear some basil leaves over the top, chuck in a pack of torn up Prosciutto and bingo.

This sounds a fantastic and filling pasta salad, I have to try it!
