Hi Roseyrobbins,

We're sorry to hear you're concerned about your tooth.

We're not able to offer any professional dental advice but we would suggest you return to your dentist so they can give you a check-up.

It's possible some of our users may be able to offer you some advice so we wanted to give this a bump for you.

I had a molar extracted 2 weeks ago due to an abscess, only treatment offered at moment was remove the molar.
To be honest I was too scared to look so soon after the extraction.
Have you followed the advice given by the dentist? I ate soft food for over a week, rinsed my mouth out with salt water a few times a day.
You really need to take ever precaution to avoid dry socket.
Perhaps it is the healing process or possibly remnants of what you have eaten has lodge there. Try swilling your mouth gently with salt water to see if it has moved. If you are in no pain I would assume all is well.

Hey OP, white is perfectly nornal. It is normally just granulation tissue - part of the healing process

Use plenty of salt water to keep it clean, bathe the socket in the salt water for 2 minutes, then repeat. Do after every meal and then before bed.

Do the salt water rinses and keep checking for a bad odour, thats usually caused by trapped food. If that happens you need to go back straight away to get it flushed.
