Phone addiction

I am rather addicted to my phone...and I think it is getting in the way of being a good parent but can't seem to stop it.
I reckon if I could get a smart watch that tells me when I have a message/call or maybe email then I can put the phone in another room so I don't then just start mindlessly scrolling. So...recommendations please! Can't spend a lot.

It's dead simple. When you're spending token with your kids you put your phone somewhere else and ignore it. What can be that urgent? When they're in bed or busy or out or whatever you can use it to your heart's content.

Apple Watch is great though if you want the dings.

I am struggling with this. I am physically echausted a lot and mentally bored so crave the input...I dont quite knownhow to replace the stimulation.

The problem is that I do need to be contactable for various reasons so putting it in another room doesn't really work whereas I feel that if I have some means of knowing who has contacted me then I can manage to stay away from
