Hello,

Please can anyone recommend a really good chocolate cake recipe? I'm looking for something that is airy and not too dense but full of gorgeous chocolatey flavour.

It must be a cake cake rather than a flourless more pudding like thing.

The milk chocolate cake in the Bero book ticks the right boxes I think. It's basically a nice chocolatey sponge cake.

Highly recommend buying the Bero book. It's great for all things baking and my go to book for this sort of thing. It's as cheap as chips too!

This one on BBC is my go to. Baked with oil not butter so the sponge is very light, like a muffin. So good. chocolate cake
