Early arthritic knee

Has anyone dealt with an early arthritic knee?
I've had an X-ray and this is what has came back, just wondered what the likely treatment is. I have private medical so might be fortunate enough not have to grin and bear it like NHS might suggest.
I'm late 30's and up until a few weeks ago could run/squat etc. I've had pain since teens but really bad pain the past month or so.

It’s difficult to know what they mean by an ‘arthritic knee’ but I’ve had chondromalacia in one knee since my teens. I’ve had two operations (due to injuries, contributing to the overall issue obviously). With the right care, physio, stretching and finding exercises that help and not hurt, and operations as necessary (depending on the underlying issue), it’s possible to do just fine.

I’ve done a lot of trekking, cycled very seriously for a number of years, and ran two half marathons since then. Keeping active and keeping weight off does help.
