Job interview went well and I have a trail shift. It's in a posh pub hotel. Any tips?

  1. Smile and greet customers.
  2. Act like nothing is too much trouble.
  3. Always have your hands full. Keep a cloth in your hand when you have nothing else to do.
  4. Take a small notepad with you and write down complicated processes etc. No one ever won any prizes for remembering everything first time perfectly.

Careful they don't come up with an excuse for you to do another "trial" shift. In my experience there are hospitality outlets that have you do a few trial shifts for no pay at all.
Otherwise.
Listen carefully, pen and notepad, pristine clean clothes hair nails. Smile be full on customer friendly and wear comfy shoes.
Good luck

What does everyone look for in a good waitress?
