What slow cooker do you have?

Just discovered that my beloved Crockpot dish has a crack right through the bottom Sad For the cost of a new dish I may as well just buy a whole new SC! I like the idea of a Sear and Stew (metal dish!) but then I like those fancy multi cookers too that do all sorts 🤔

I have one of the sear and stew ones - makes slow cooker meals so much nicer if you've sautéed the veg and seared the meat beforehand. Mind you, it's not come out of the cupboard since we've been working from home...!

I have a crock pot that I used to use...but then I got an instant pot for my christmas (I enjoy cooking so it was a good present idea from my parents)...and I've never used the crock pot since! I like being able to sear the meat, soften the veg, toast the spices in the pot and then set it going rather than the flaff of doing it seperate.

I cracked my porcelain one and swapped it for a sear and stew. It's great. It's a morphy richards one.

I used to have a sear and stew which was good, but replaced it with an instant pot. Just as good (you can saute in it before slow cooking) but obviously more versatile as I can pressure cook, make yoghurt, rise dough etc in it too. I like having as few kitchen devices as poss so I'm happy!

Another Morphy RIchard Sear and Stew, mine is metal and goes on the hob as well, I love it but not sure if you cant get it anymore

I bought an Instant pot but DH uses it far more than I do because he’s discovered how quick it is for making dog food in. (Veg plus pigs liver and beef mince). He chops the veg, adds the meat and stock and sets it to cook for 10 mins at pressure and wanders off. Thankfully, the smell of cooked liver is pretty much contained.

I’ve used it to cook curry’s and stews but some people cook cakes and yoghurt in them too.

I've for an instant pot too.

Ooooo the Argos instant pot is on clearance for £35 and it's in stock in my local store!

A basic tesco 3L one with a porcelain pot. It was cheap (£30 I think?) but it does the job.

I picked this up earlier, am excited to try it out!
