So yesterday, Dh and I were in the garden. Our neighbour was cutting stone with a disc cutter, from 6-7.30pm. The noise was awful ....Dh was complaining about it, to me the whole time. At 9pm, after a bit of peace, neighbour comes back out, and starts again. I'd had enough by this point, so went over, and asked, if he realised it was 9pm. He looked at me, but ignored my comment, so I turned away, and called him a pillock. Dh shouted, Whatthefunk, you've gone too far....I'm cross because after complaining about the noise all evening, he didn't back me up. Calling him a pillock was childish, but to be honest, I was thinking far worse....Who's right?

9pm far too late, it makes hell of a noise, you did right

It was dreadful....I'm so cross with Dh, for undermining me..

Kind of thing my husband has done in the past, it makes me think of him as very weak.

He WAS being pillock. You are right! Did he continue with the noise? If he did, I'd have called him more than that and I'm not one for calling people names...

He continued for a minute. Almost as though he was showing me that he could....I wonder if Dh is pissed off with himself, for not doing anything
