Universal credit confusion

NC, long term mums netter,

I have a lot of health issues, I have fibromyalgia, coeliac disease, ibs, chronic headaches, chronic migraines, anxiety, depression, and I'm currently going through further tests including brain scans and stuff. I have 2 DC, ds has adhd and gets high rate dla. I'm struggling at the moment with going to work, as well as the mum stuff, the house work, shopping etc, dh does what he can, but he works double the hours I do. I just wondered if there's anyone that knows their stuff about universal credit that could help me out, we would be eligible, would I get penalised for leaving employment when I'm struggling so badly at the moment, constant fibro flare ups, constant headaches and migraines, I can't sit for long but I can't stand for long either, and the stress is ds on top of it too, he's such a difficult child and I'm honestly feeling like I can't cope with it all anymore and somethings got to give. I'm planning on calling CAB when I have a spare 20 mins when the kids are settled and not fighting each other or screaming at me. ThanksBlush
