Can someone explain this to me - my SMP ends on Sunday 23rd August - if I return to work / end maternity leave part way through the w/c 17th August, will I still get paid the weekly SMP for that week or will it be pro rata? I have asked our HR department and they aren't giving a straight answer?
I want to know if it's worth saving a few days holiday if I will get SMP in full for that week!
