Today I shall be making a chocolate cheesecake....

The baked kind 🤤

But! I’ve just inspected my springform tin and noticed a bit of rust on it. I’ve given it a good scrub but the rust is in all the little awkward nooks & crannies.
Do you reckon I should line the tin? Or would that give me a scruffy cheesecake? Or should I give up on the idea of chocolatey goodness until I buy a new tin? 🤔

Oh no don’t give up on the chocolate feast! I would definitely line the tin and go for it!

😁

What’s the best way to line it though? All over with foil? Parchment? Paper at the bottom and foil round the sides?!

I should’ve just bought a cheesecake instead 😆

Parchment will be fine.

When you're cleaning the tin afterwards, wire wool will probably scrub all the rust off. When the tin is dry give it a wipe with a oiled piece of kitchen paper to protect it.

If it's a non-stick tin, you're fucked!
