Where can I sell a tree?

Can you sell a tree?!

Have a potted 5ft cherry tree, it blossoms beautifully and gives off loads of fruit, it’s in a pot that was £100 and the garden centre is selling them for £300 without pot and they’re constantly out of stock.

We desperately need cash and it’s occurred that this blooming tree is probably the most valuable thing in the house! (Not actually joking!)

Getting £150/£200 for it, although unlikely I’m sure, Would be unbelievably helpful

So can you sell a tree?! Where can you sell it?!

In NW London if that’s helpful

I don’t know where but you could advertise on local Facebook or eBay?

It sounds beautiful and the sort of thing I’d have in my garden

Rebelwithallthecause · 09/08/2020 19:13

Do you have a photo?

IveSeenThings · 09/08/2020 19:14

Ebay- I often look at olive trees on there.

Loads of plants for sale on my local selling pages or you could ask garden centre if they'd buy it from you maybe

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 11/08/2020 10:30

Oh asking the garden centre is a good idea!

Thanks for all the suggestions! Genuinely appreciate it

Sweet tree! These are only sold for around £40 at BandQ though so I think your expectations might be a bit high.

I was going to say don't be ridiculous until I remembered our cherry tree is called John.
CorianderLord · 11/08/2020 20:19

Yes everyone names their plants. We have Cera, Rowena, Juno, Erika and Ooronoko
