I've got a job interview for restaurant waitressing at a kind of posh place. My roots are showing as there no appointments. Should I paint my nails? I have no clue 😂

Mix of excitement and nerves. Sorry

I wouldn’t paint nails for a restaurant interview, clean nails. I wouldn’t worry about roots, but Clean and tidy hair.

Forgot to mention DH owns/runs a wine bar

Clean and short nails, no polish. Clean hair, probably tied up if it’s long but keep it neat.

Generally looking clean and presentable is half the battle! Good luck x

Tie hair up in a bun, clean nails, clean minimal makeup. You want to look professional, clean, tidy.

Yeah that's what I was thinking 😊 fingers crossed for me. How smart should I dress? Like suit or smart but no like a penguin?

I would dress smart but not necessarily a suit. Smart trousers or skirt with a blouse and a clean, smart pair of shoes would be absolutely fine.
