What Colour Would You Paint Your Kitchen?

I have lived n my house for 16 years. Kitchen was freshly decorated when I moved in, but not been touched since.
Through necessity, I am having to replace the oven and wondered about going for a different colour on the walls at the same time. Kitchen units are oak, oven is silver and I would probably choose silver again although a number of other colours are available. Walls are at present very boring beige. What do you think would be a liveable-with colour, but a bit more exciting?

My kitchen is blossom white (a pinkish white basically). I'm getting a new kitchen as mine is an 80s job, the units will probably be white & the walls may even become blush pink...

You can get pink ovens, but that would be a bit too far for me!

I went classic red and white but I think kitchens can really stand some bold colours!

I'd go blue with oak. Boring, I know, but works. Something like this?
www.littlegreene.com/sky-blue-26758. I've got a tester and it's way nicer than it looks there.

Or a sage or olive green? Depends how much light you get in the kitchen.

I’m a firm believer in bathrooms and kitchens being painted white.

Boring I know but clean and fresh and you can accessorise their hell out of them.

My natural instinct is white/beige type stuff, but I wanted to be a little bolder this time!

I like the Little Greene site, so will have a closer look tomorrow. I especially like that they tell you other shades that go with your first choice!! Do you think two colours would look odd in a kitchen, or better if they are all the same?

We went with basic white
Have maple units , white ( with a few sparkles ) Work surface , splash back and upstand
Have white dishwasher and fridge
Navy blue Aga
Colour comes from toaster , kettle , radio , plates and arty bits on walls
It's a very dark house , so it works for us

I’ve just painted ours. Dulux overtly olive. It had to match oak units, dark green aga and dull brown and cream tiles.

I like the sound of olive, as I bet my oven comes in dark green!

I have charcoal units, pale grey floors. It's a bit cold looking. I picked up the plummy tones in the charcoal and have soft purple walls, strong purple accents.

What about a warm vanilla custard? Bit more than cream, but very livable with.
