What are you all doing today?

I'm enjoying my usual cuppa in silence. I'll put the washer on when I've drunk it but for now it's lovely sitting here with no noise.

I don't think we're doing much - dd2 wants to carry on with making a sleeping bag for her favourite cuddly so we'll do that. & the paddling pool is half filled from yesterday so I might just top that up & we'll spend some of the day in the garden.

Dd1 will probably wander round in her hoody most of the day telling me she's not too hot & watch Hamilton (for the millionth time!).

It'll be something with salad for tea I think & then a couple of glasses of wine either reading my book while the girls Minecraft or drawing out a pattern for a book holder thing for the side of dd2's bed.

Got up and chucked running stuff on and off I went for a run. Got back and decided to persuade DH who was still in bed to come with me for a bike ride. Which we did. Then had some lunch with the kids whilst DH went on another bike ride. Then eldest wanted to do my make -up so she did. Then did a spot of sitting in the sun with a cup of tea. Then had to wash said make-up off as it had melted in the sun. Then promised youngest I would watch H20 with her on Netflix. Sat here now and will read my book. Then later make tea which is fish and not quite sure what else yet. Then will just watch telly, and hopefully another episode of umbrella academy.

Her dad has just suggested it needs a gaming headset too so it can play Minecraft with dd2 I may have glared at him as now she's wondering what else I can make!

Was at the pub (garden) last night and really suffered this morning. I cannot bear heat, it’s my worst nightmare, so I’ve let the DC stay in PJs and play/craft/watch TV. I’ve laid in front of 2 fans, naked, all day, because if I move to go anywhere I start to melt. It’s horrendous. I am made for winter. Can’t wait for it to break!

Tomorrow we will be cleaning and packing for holiday and I’m dreading it.

Well I had my first trip to Primark since lockdown. I don't go often but was delighted to get a few bits. New bath sheet. Make up sponges. Few other things. Also trested myself to lunch out and new shoes. Dh cooked and took dc out and they are still not home. This is a rare child free day so I am going to have a shower and use my lumea and glass of wine in the garden.

i’ve left the kids at home with my partner and come to my mum’s house for a sleep! my 19 month old and 3 month old were both awake on and off all night so we’re all exhausted and i made a deal that my partner could have a lie in this morning and i’d have a nap in the afternoon. i just didn’t tell him that i would be having my nap at my mum’s 😂 i’ve had a lovely long snooze in a silent house and woken up to home made cake and a cuppa. going to head home soon and have a takeaway and few glasses of wine.

Sunshine.. You are very clever to think of it if you were at home you wouldn't get a wink of sleep. I said from now on I am going to do my own thing a bit more and it's better for everyone to get a bit of me time.
