Covid PTA Ideas

We really need funds for our school and have heard that Xmas fair and most likely a lot of our normal e bc events are going to be cancelled this year 😥 does anyone have any ideas for fundraising ideas that are Covid 'friendly'?

Online quizzes with prizes delivered to houses by PTA?

Outside socially distanced discos?

We've decided to only do a "donate if you want" type thing this year. People are under too much threat of job cuts to put on constant events this year. It's a bit of a nightmare as the school is really short on funds, but some parents just don't have it

We're going to give ideas of amounts as some people have asked for ideas (So X for Gluesticks for 1 class, £Y for play equipment etc)

Luckily a local business has offered pencil cases for all the children so that hasn't had to come from school funds.

That's a good idea, to give amount of what you need and I'd also thought of a donate as you like type idea any way. Think people get fed up of the same stuff x

What about a raffle...with the draw being live on YouTube or something.

Or maybe sponsor an activity or something

I work in a corporate environment which normally involves a lot of client entertainment which obviously has had to stop. Instead we’ve done virtual wine tasting, virtual horse racing and one time an amazing magician who totally wowed everyone and had loads of virtual participation.

I think thinking outside the box is key, everyone is likely a bit sick of quizzes at this point

Thanks everyone, I definitely agree about thinking outside the box
