I have been looking to book a taxi to take us from home to a caravan park. I found what seemed like a decent company- only looked at a few reviews as have quite a specific requirement list. I started to worry because they said that they would send a confirmation through when the deposit was paid, and this is backed up by their website. I paid deposit and 2 days later haven’t received confirmation. Because of this I have looked more deeply into the company and apparently they have a recent rep of taking bookings and deposit and not turning up.
As I haven’t received the promised confirmation,
Is there anything I can do to get the deposit back via bank or another way or do I need to just write it off and learn from the experience! Feel so stupid...
