I just received this Facebook message from an acquaintance I have not spoken to since 2008. I'm fairly certain her account has been hacked by scammers but I've never heard of this one before and Google brought up nothing.
Message one: I'm doing pretty good, enjoying the moment of life ever since good things has been happening to me since last few days?
Message 2: ???????!!!??
I replied that we haven't spoken since 2008 but I'm glad she's doing well.
Message 3: Have you heard about The International Benefits and Compensation yet? Xxxxxoxoxo
Message 4 : I received some money from them and when they came to my doorstep to deliver the money to me and they said you were also going to be getting the money,did you get it yet?
Anyone any clue as to the scams end game? I'm guessing I'll have to either hand over all my personal details or pay for my benefits compensation.
I've blocked her now. I have no other way of contacting her since I've not spoken to her irl since 1993.
