TV Licence

Hello everyone. First discussion on Mumsnet .
Has anyone ever tried to cancel a TV licence using their online service. Is it me or they actually take you round an endless loop where you can't see any option of how to cancel your TV licence ever. I tried calling them, but the bot hanged up as 'they were very busy receiving enormous amounts of calls'.

Hi OP and welcome! Whilst I haven t tried to do this myself I can totally believe what you are saying. I am currently having issued with or of my online accounts and it seems like you are taken round in circles and back to the start....getting nowhere. Like you I eventually get through to someone and either get cut off or you can t get a straight answer. Hopefully they love a poster who has managed to do this along soon. Best of luck!

I have tried again . I do not pretend to be a computer geek: I can easily get through everything online but if they just take you around and drop you to the starting point again, that's very clever. I pity the older people who need an uncomplicated website but this one beats the best out of me! . My daughter (14) says it's called a link circle and it exists!
