He doesn’t believe in corona

So I’m due to meet my friend this weekend for the first time in months, but her partner doesn’t believe in corona. He says it was all made up by the government, it doesn’t exist and will not wear a mask anywhere.

My view is whether it’s been exaggerated figure wise or not, it is there and we all need to do our bit and just wear a bloody mask, cool or not cool looking doesn’t matter

How is everyone feeling about it now? Am I still being over the top washing my hands and keeping my kids protected? Or are we all just living like it doesn’t exist anymore?

@EleanorOalike

My local priest’s policy is “if you get it you get it” Angry and he’s refusing to stick to the rules.

They are all sitting in the same rows at church, singing, not contact tracing, he was having services and people round to the church worshipping together during the lockdown, they all pass things hand to hand. There’s over a hundred people at the church every Sunday most of them elderly and infirm. All the other places of worship
in the town are sticking to the rules but he thinks it’s “a load of silly rubbish”. He’s directly placing people’s lives at risk and it makes me so angry.

I’d really struggle to socialise with someone with this sort of attitude.

can you report him?

Don't see these friends OP. Just tell them you don't feel safe, because of his attitude. Let him say whatever he wants about that, don't respond, just repeat , sorry, I don't think its safe for my family to see you,

He's a bell-end. I've been ill, as have family members and dozens of our colleagues. None of us on any official figures whatsoever, as no community testing was being done back in March. Last I heard, approx 4 million people were reporting their symptoms to the Covid Zoe app, some new, some recovered and everything in between ! I don't use it myself). But sure, it's a hoax Hmm

Oh, he is obviously right and my friends who work in the health service have all clearly been lying to me. And my other friend who lost both her healthy parents to the virus has been brainwashed. Yeah. Right.
