New job, disability worries

I've been unemployed for over 3 years now claiming PIP for mental health & physical health reasons. Been trying to get to a point where I can do a part time role and I've been offered one. Only downside is each shift is 8hrs (very tiring for me due to CFS) and I have to complete 2 weeks of 5 days a week training (40hrs!) before I can do just the part time hours (24 a week).

I just don't think I can do it, so much of my day is taken up by panic attacks, anxiety, depression, exhaustion etc. How will I cope? I really need the money though as I only get £400pm PIP.

I've improved this past year and made some friends as well as gone out of my comfort zone quite a bit so I feel a job is a good next step.

Congratulations! Very well done to you!

I suggest you try here. I’ve worked for them and they’re bloody brilliant with their advice.

Failing that, join the FB group for your condition if you can and ask their advice.

CAB should also be able to offer productive advice too.

Good luck xxx
