Any dentists about? Tooth extraction advice please.

Hi, I had an extraction today and I've some blood in my mouth. I'm worried about using the gauze as I've had 2 dry sockets in the past and I'm worried about dislodging the blood clot. What should I do?

Not a dentist but I would think it normal to have a bit of blood on the day, just a weak gentle sluice with warm water and a bit of gauze. If tooth is still bleeding on day 2/3 seek medical help.

If it’s oozing I’d leave it. But for actual bleeding you need to roll up a clean hanky and bite down for a good half an hour - sit still and rest for the rest of today
I would also call the dentist for advice and reassurance
