Swapping from apples to Samsung...

My battery keeps dying on iPhone 6 so looking at a new phone .

Wondering if anyone has swapped from iPhone - did you miss anything about it?

Apart from blue Apple iMessage between iPhone handsets, crap battery and photography performance nothing else really.

Apple mobile handsets were best in breed industry leading back in the day but long superseded on pretty much every performance and functionality benchmark for years now since the likes of Samsung, Huawei, Google, One Plus and Xiami. Probably stay clear of Huawei for obvious US software issues but all the others have been offering superior photography and faster 5G performance for some time unlike retro cool Apple. Personally Google Android initially felt more technical to handle compared to child and tech adverse idiot proof Apple user interface ecosystem. For security I gathered Apple may have the overall sight edge but then I am very guarded in what I store and access on my mobile phone. Photography and bang for buck is key (though Samsung high end is pricey) and I always refer to the independent benchmark experts DXO Mark. Just go to DXO Mark for a good mobile phone comparison website and then look at Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert to source and for deals/pricing information.

Don’t buy into the super high end folding handsets yet as they need a few more generations before the screen is perfected (on durability) and price to fall when normal as everyone will all have these mobile foldable computer and communications devices in the future.

My DH gated moving to android and was back to Apple in 4 months. I’m going to buy the SE soon x

I changed four years ago. My iPhones died regularly but I'm on the same Samsung even with kids throwing it across room,!

I have a memory card in mine so it never runs out and honestly I don't miss anythi g about iPhones and its never ending problems,
