We’re going there this weekend and have got one thing sorted. I’ve been looking at other things to do but obviously it’s hard to know what will be closed. Anyone got any good ideas please?

Depends on what you want to do.
Castle is reopened but I think you have to book.
Bars and restaurants reopened too, booking might be required.

The beaches can get busy if it's a hot day, not sure if you can walk to Cramond Island from Silverknowes yet it was closed
Portobello beach has lots of outdoor eating and a few indoor.

Arthur's Seat and Queen's Park great for walking.
River of Leith walkway nice stroll.
New haven harbour is pretty at sunset

You'll need masks if you going on public transport or into shops.

What sort of things you looking for?

I've been looking this morning actually as thinking of going for a long weekend soon. The castle is open, as is the Zoo, the Royal Yacht Britannia, various bus, walking and boat tours. The Real Mary King's Close is an interesting attraction which is open again now too. The museum of Scotland is still closed but Holyroodhouse Palace is open. Pretty much everything needs to be booked in advance thiugh so if you fancy any of those places, you probably need to get them booked quickly.
Hope you have a good time,
