Daddy long legs

Looks a bit like a cellar spider

That's a cellar spider. Perfectly harmless and they do a great job at clearing the house of pests..also they can eat giant house spiders which aren't welcome here..too big and hairy! Cellar spiders are pretty hard! DS hates the larger cellar spiders but I tell him they're our friends!

All spiders are our friends!

I thought it was. It’s a lot darker than the other cellar spiders we have.

It bumbles around a lot no knowing what to do so I’ve decided it’s a male.

For clarity, I did mean cellar spider/daddy long legs and not harvestman/daddy long legs (not spiders anyway).

Grinabsolutely a male without a doubt

An animal of a spider as well as it's already lost two legs.

DeborahAnnabelToo · 05/08/2020 09:41

Its body is a different shape to most cellar spiders I've seen... but harvestmen are usually completely round I think? Strange, maybe it's some kind of hybrid Wink

Looks like an opilione to me
