Come Dine with Me - do you know anyone?

I have been quite in to this since wfh and lockdown as got more time. Got a series link on at the moment! I know lots of it is edited for the best bits but I really cant believe how some of the people behave. I watched one and a man said he could not eat certain foods as his friends would laugh he was not a real man. He was very arrogant. One woman saying how glamorous and posh she was (I did not think so). Always makes me laugh when they say they will win and don't. I think I prefer it when they all get on and have a laugh. Anyway the question is do you know anyone that has been on it and are they like that in real life?. Everyone seems to do lamb shanks with dauphinoise potatoes and cheese cake. I did know one person along time ago but to be honest she came over as she was and was quite nice.

Yes, a friend of mine was on it very recently. She came across very well, Twitter loved her. She replaced someone who was booted half way through so didn't win but she enjoyed it. She was just disappointed with how little of her evening they showed!

Some friends (a couple) were on it fairly recently - and they won! It was edited to make female friend look as though she henpecked her DH, and that is far from the truth - but otherwise they seemed to be as they really are. They had a lot of fun doing it, but apparently the filming takes ages.

That's good they both came over well. There is some very nice funny people on there too.

Yes I bet there is a lot of editing going on Inextremis. That's good they won. I think they all get told to clean their kitchen at the beginning as you always see them wiping down (well I hope it would be clean anyway). I remember one old one I watched and she bought a cooked chicken and added a tin curry sauce lol.

Yes an ex boss of mine was on it he was shown pretty true to life.
