Hi all, does anyone have any recent recommendations for visiting Bath with two little ones- 8mo and 2.5yo? We’re going on Friday, so I was just wondering whether the wisdom of MN could throw up anything above and beyond Google’s standard response...

The Egg Theatre (and cafe) if open
Victoria Park playground
Parade Gardens is a little green oasis in the centre (a couple of quid)
Boat trips? Probably too little for Bath Boating Station
Outside Bath Avon Valley country park are doing a drive through safari and camping with dinosaurs I think. That's a great place for little ones.

I live in bath with a 1 and 4 year old and there’s not much we’re actually doing in Bath at the moment I’m afraid! The Egg cafe is closed I think but there’s a nice kid friendly cafe called Fox & Kit in the centre which has some toys and great toddler foods. I wouldn’t go to Victoria Park at the moment if you want to socially distance as it’s very busy. We’re mainly going for days out outside Bath - Hope Nature Centre is about 25 mins away and was brilliant when we went last week. Bath Soft Cheese in Kelston is good for seeing some cows and chickens and grabbing a cake while having a walk.

Thanks for the suggestions! We’ve booked tickets for the Roman baths, but are free beyond that. I wanted to try Sally Lunn’s for lunch...? Unfortunately we’re staying near south of Bath, near Frome, so some of the other suggestions are a bit far, although I did like the sound of Bath Soft Cheese!
