B&Bs in Boston Lincs

Good Morning

Have cause to stay overnight in Boston later this month.
Been looking at some places to stay and would just like to know, from Bostonians, what the areas are like .

Area and choice 1 . Quayside Hotel & Bar London Road
2. White Hart Hotel, High Street
3. The Magnet Tavern, South Square

Thank you in advance

I know the White Hart & Magnet, although haven't stayed in either. I think the WH was refurbished a few years ago. Both are central to the town.

So they are in fairly ok areas then ? Also, sorry, do you know if any are walkable from the railway station or would a cab be required ? Again TIA

Bit of a walk from the railway station, both are close to the town centre but not sure I'd want to stay in town tbh.

PM me where you need to be & I'll try & make suggestions.

I would stay at the premier inn in Boston which is near to the hospital on the outskirts . You would need to catch a taxi from the station.

Or if you don't need to be in Boston, there is the Comfort inn at Bicker which has a nice restaurant.

Hope that helps, I live near to Boston so am familiar with the area .

Thank You

I am going to meet my DS , at a distance, who lives in one of the villages towards the coast . Just somewhere that is close to some eateries or/and pubs would be ideal really . He is cycling into Town to meet me

In that case I would do the Premier inn as it's on the coast road. There is a lovely Italian in the town centre but other than that not a lot of choice

Yeah, Boston's not the best place! 😆 Maybe there are some nice B&Bs in one of the villages on the outskirts of the town?

Boston is a hole!
The white hart is walking distance to the station-go down the alley and the right up west street.

But yeah I would stay in the premier inn, you could walk into town from there if you’re mobile-I used to go to the school just round the corner and walked into town every lunch time.

You might find an Air BnB in one of the villages. I personally wouldn't stay in Boston itself.

Boston is a crime ridden dump.

Do you/your DS drive op? I can recommend some much nicer places but you might need a car.

Thank you everyone

Been a change of plan now and going for the day not an overnight

Sounds like I dodged a bullet as they say.

I have been to Boston, well just outside it, a few times but it was years ago and I had only seen part of it
Thanks for all of your advise

Ty @Sootikinstew but we will be going up there by train . Would have chosen a coach but there are only 2 a week .
