Ideas to keep DS entertained

Both DH and I are working from home so can't interact with DS (age 9) as much as he wants. We're trying to avoid him spending all of his time on the computer or watching TV. I need ideas for things he can do by himself that would keep him occupied for a bit while we work.

He likes lego, but if I give him a lego project to build he just puts something together in like 5 minutes. He will read for a bit on his own, but he hates doing anything that he see as 'school work' like writing or maths.

I need something that he can do for 30 min or so by himself that doesn't involve screens and (hopefully) won't cause a big stompy argument.

Does he like Art? We got dc a How to Draw book And an Art Skills book which they enjoy.
A painting by numbers picture.
Ds also likes Airfix models.

Another idea is to get all the ingredients and scales out for a dough based recipe and see if he can weigh, mix and knead all the dough for baking later.

I know you said no screens but is a camera ok? My ds loved making his own stop motion animation with his action figures or playmobil.
