My DD has today booked her 1st driving lesson, She is almost 17.
An hour later, we were chatting about uni related things- What to expect in a dorm room, getting washing done at a laundrette, she also sent me a link to a glittery pink kettle and toaster she " definitely wants in her dorm".
Its going to be a year of excitement ahead!
Dd is my 1st child, she was born extremely prem , I know I'm a bit protective of her because of this.
Dd is such a brilliant child- sweet, kind, helpful & her sense of humour is wicked (has had the usual teen tantrums too!)
Tonight, its dawned on me..., Next year she really will be off on her own, I am not ready for this haha!!! 18 years truely have whizzed by in a blink.
Nobody warns you for this milestone, leaving home!
I am delighted for her, fully supportive but Im going to miss her being at home so much!
I know I sound ridiculous!!!😬😬😂
