Any dressmakers around?

I have an ageing linen tunic that I absolutely adore. It's not a complex
cut (to my amateur eye) so nothing complicated in terms of design.

I also have an enormous linen duvet cover which I bought in France years ago that poorly fits my duvets. I was going to send it to the charity shop but have had a mad thought of getting a seamstress to use my current linen top to make another and perhaps a few book bags/tote bags.

Is this doable or a stupidly expensive venture?

I wish I could sew!

Yes, you can do that but they will need to pick apart your top! No idea how much it would cost though...
