..took a load of washing downstairs and somewhere between feet hitting the hall floor and opening the front door I kind of lost the plot and almost placed it into the wheelie bin outside

Haha! I put my phone in the wheelie bin a few weeks back when recycling some magazines 🙄😊

I was bringing the washing down, huge basket, I couldn’t see and the dog didn’t move, I stood on his paw, so I went from the stairs straight into the the front door, trying to avoid putting my full weight on his paw, splat!.

If it helps OP I once was carrying my phone in one hand and a cup of tea in the other into my bedroom ready to go to bed. I don't know if it was the tiredness or what, but instead of placing the tea on the nightstand and chucking my phone onto the bed, I did it the other way round. It's amazing how a wee cup of tea can soak up so much of your duvet. And your sheets. And your mattress.

LOL.. and here's another... sometimes when I am tired (I think) because I cannot think of another reasonable excuse.. if I answer a call on my phone and then the call ends, I still walk round with the damn phone on my ear
