What shoes/coat/bag are your high school boys in to?

My sister has asked me to help find something suitable for my nephew who is due to start high school in September.

He is a bit different from other children and she's worried about him fitting in, she's convinced the right things will help, but we have no idea what's 'in' with that age group.

FYI - He'll be riding in on his bike every day.

Starting secondary is so hard.

Shoes. It depends how strict the school are. If they allow trainers then lots of kids here wear Black leather Nike Air Force or similar. If they insist on shoes then kickers are ok here.
Coat. Sports brands like Adidas of Nike. Superdry and North Face are also popular. Shops like River Island also. Be aware that lots choose not to wear a coat. 🙄
Bags. Any rucsac by Nike, Adidas, Superdry, North Face etc.
