That seems a lot!

Ours is £55 a month - 2 adults/2 DC - 2 showers daily, sometimes more, DC bath/shower days 4 times a week. Dishwasher daily, extra rinse on clothes washing due to eczema and watering plants in summer.

Just seen yours is more than a quarter - if so it looks ok!

@ureterr1blemuriel Can you get a discount because of the extra washing due to medical reasons.

My Direct debit has just gone up to £38 per month, there's only two of us, I think it's expensive. I'm with united utilities
.

Ours is £39p/m for water & sewage with Thames Water. There's 4 of us but we're not on a meter.

JoJoSM2 · 01/08/2020 21:07

Ours is ridiculous in summer because of watering the garden. I can’t remember the wonder numbers but I think they were pretty low as we have aerated water taps and efficient appliances with low water usage functions.

JustCallMeGriffin · 01/08/2020 21:13

How much other people pay is pretty irrelevant because Water is a fixed utility commodity and there's no choice in provider.

However our usage is 60 cubic meters for the same time period as you. 2 adults and 2 children. I wouldn't say you're using excessive amounts based on that.
