What's everyone up to today?

I'm just finishing a coffee, then off up to get dressed and wake dd1 (who will no doubt love me for it )

We need some fruit so I think we'll have a walk into town to the market while the weather's reasonably nice.

We might get dinner at the market's food court too - weather dependent though; if it rains we might skip that so we don't have to sit indoors.

I've done a bit of housework already so it's reasonably tidy at home, and the washing will go out before we leave.

Not sure what we'll do tonight - I want to order some needles for my sewing machine and practise applying a patch pocket so I can put dd2 some pockets on her (optimistically bought) school cardigans.

The girls will most likely Minecraft together for a while then dd1 will watch a musical (Hamilton, again, at a guess) and dd2 will probably Minecraft with her friends online.

Only just getting up as I’m not feeling very well. Thought I might have eaten something dodgy but more likely that I didn’t drink enough yesterday. Kind of feels like I’m nervous when I’m actually not. Been having probs with my HRT patches actually so wonder if that’s affected me too. We haven’t planned anything for today anyway.

We’ve done the housework and just had coffee and biscuits in the garden. I’m making a picnic lunch and we’re off to the woods Geocaching. Back for the FA cup final and a Chinese takeaway later.

Thank you for posting this. I have nothing planned and feel a bit crap, but its been a tough week at work and I don't want to waste the weekend. So am posting here to give myself a kick up the bum. Will get off MN, shower and dress and actually do my hair for once. After that, remind the kids they still haven't done their chores. And I need to look at the family finances which I have been a bit of an ostrich over. Then read my book and maybe get some exercise. Hope you have a lovely day.

I’m currently marinating in fake tan while making a salad to take to a BBQ this afternoon. When DP finishes work he’ll drive me there and then I believe he’s having friends over to watch the football.
I won’t be home too late as we’re hosting a big family party tomorrow and I may have been slightly ambitious with my menu plans so have lots to get done!

Yesterday we went fruit picking, so today I have £30 worth of strawberries to wash, chop and freeze before they go bad.

We're swimming this afternoon. I've booked a slow lane at a pool we don't usually use. (Our usual ones are council run so I assume it's not worth them unfurloughing their staff and setting up a booking system) I get ridiculously anxious about going to new places, so am Google earthing all the nearby car parks.

I need to try to move a huge rabbit hutch and run to make my patio look a bit tidier. I'm wondering wether to give them some of the lawn.

Not a lot I’ve had a stomach bug so not feeling brilliant I’ve just had a shower and got dressed and just put some washing in.Going to have a cup of peppermint tea (only been having water) and might try a piece of toast as I’ve not eaten anything since Wednesday
Dd is doing online dance classes and Dh is mowing the grass
