My dd is almost 2 and almost potty trained during the day, she never holds her wee in and his happy going on the potty and the toilet. Yesterday she drank plenty and was weeing fine all day and before she went to bed. She woke up about 10pm crying and pulling at her nappy saying ouch and eventually said that she wanted the potty but everytime she relaxed and tried to go she was saying ouch ouch and crying, this was on and off for about 2 hours till we got some calpol down her and she went to sleep. I just thought she’d wee through the night in her sleep as usual but she still hasn’t weed and now I’m worried! Could it be a uti as it came on so so quickly or could it be something else?

It sounds like a uti. I wouldn’t leave it and would get advice from 111 this morning.
