Feeling so guilty for having DC

Bringing them into this mad world, I look at their gorgeous innocent faces and the last thing I want is them suffering a horrible life!

I'm doing my upmost to become more environmentally friendly to leave the world a better place for them. I want to make them feel so loved too and give them a fantastic childhood.

I'm not suicidal, quite the opposite!

What can I do to make sure they have the best life possible?! This is a horrible feeling

I think parents have had this worry since the dawn of time, I know I have. My parents raised their family in what was effectively a civil war, plus the cold war, whilst my grandparents raised my parents in WW2. I think I've got it easier than either of them to be honest.

You can't control the wider world and you'll drive yourself mad if you think about it too much. All you can do is make the day to day as happy and secure as possible.

I know what you mean; I had my second baby in February and sometimes I think what kind of world have I brought you into. I’d like to think my DC will be part of trying to make it better though in the same way that I think I try.

Thats a good point, I need to raise them to be a part of the solution and be better people

Yes you're right; parents have always had things to contend with. Ironically its less Covid for me, more the long term impact of its existence. I've had such a wonderful life so far and I want better for my DC. Hopefully that becomes possible
