Joanna Page ( Gavin & Stacy) - can’t bear listening to her! And the woman who does the voices for Nanny Plum In Ben & Holly & whatever the rabbit character is called in Peppa Pig. Cannot stand how she speaks!

Before I opened the thread, I had "Stacey's" voice in my head.

Joey Lauren Adams . I think that's her name. Also Jennifer Tilly. Not sure if it's just from the particular film they're in or if that's actually how they speak.

The Kardashian family.

Anyome with All that vocal fry. I didn't know what that particular annoyance was called until someone pointed it out to me. Now I notice it everywhere. It grates.

I hate the sound of my own voice too but I think it's quite common to dislike that. Your own voice, not necessarily mine in particular (although perhaps a lot of people do dislike my voice but are just too polite to say!)

Paloma Faith. Not fussed on her singing, but her speaking is so grating!

Jimmy Carr’s laugh. I have to leave the room.

Also Lucy Beaumont. She’s from the same place as me and listening to her reminds me of how much I dislike my own voice.

Plus she lays it on thick for comic effect.

There was a woman who reads the news and does a swallow after every sentence. Can’t remember her name though.

More of a general thing but presenters who make a loud hiss pronouncing the letter S. Every sssssingle time.

Sarah Jarvis and her clicky mouth drives me mad.

And I think it's Miquita Oliver (sp?) who does the Argos voice overs and now the Vodafone ones? She speaks soooooo slooooowly.

AOC. She may talk sense and will very probably stand for President in 2032, but gods, her voice is like nails down a blackboard.

Like his comedy but can't cope with the high pitch of Alan Carr's voice.

I have friends who always comment on ‘annoying voices’. It makes me feel terribly self conscious about my own voice which I am sure must be annoying!
