I want to go away to Norfolk in about a week. Is it advisable/ is there any point?

I'm single and I would like to take a few days out and wander around some nice towns/ beaches etc.

I have never been to Norfolk but I have been to Ely/ Cambridge so might consider staying nearer there as I have some friends who I could socially distance wave at.

I'm not bothered about big tourist attractions, but I know it has a lovely coast and heritage sites etc.

But I am aware that travel advice etc is changing all the time. This was going to be the only version of a holiday I allowed myself. But should I bother?

Assuming you don't live in a quarantined area I don't see why not. I live in Norfolk, the coast is apparently very busy today so I guess accommodation might be filling up. If you book somewhere with a good returns policy (eg Premier Inn flexible rates) that should mitigate the risk?
