60 gifts for 60th birthday

My mum will be 60 in October. We will be away on holiday but in UK. Her main gift is a "This is your life" type memory book I'm making.

I'd like to gift her 60 gifts. But only small/cheapish.

She doesn't drink alcohol, smoke, drink hot drinks or have baths (only showers)

Suggestions on things to get that will be easyish to transport? I can leave them in a bag in my boot until the day. Her and my dad will be going in their own car.

Ideas??
@CrockyBetter you could do 60 notes in a jar instead?

Like 60 traits you and family love about her, kind things she's done for you in the past you are grateful for etc...?
Nooo! The woman is only going to be 60 - she wants a celebration not canonization!

Well said, Cake!

Too many gifts but I think the book will go down a treat.

Glad you've scrapped the 60 cheap gifts idea. Is she a scarf person? A Liberty or designer silk scarf that she would actually wear and think of you when she puts it on? I have a Mulberry leather purse that I love. I often think of the person who bought it for me.

I was 60 in January and had a good list of gifts I'd like. I can enlarge if you like

I think the 60 things I love about you is a good idea, or 60 photos from families and friends with a message on from them. I love sentimental things!

I did this for my mum who turned 60 recently. She loved it but then she loves the attention and presents!

I did a memory book - spent months contacting and finding people from her life and asking for their favourite memories of her and photos and collated them into a memory book and a photo album.

I did little things like seeds from my country for her garden (she loves gardening) and brownies from a local baker. I got her a charm for her bracelet that she loves and adds to over the years.

I got two subscriptions - one book club style one so 12 books over a year and a bloom and wild one for a year.

I also booked a mini break for two nights with me and DS for next year and the train tickets for her.

I get what people are saying about 60 tat presents and I nearly scrapped the idea because I didn’t want it to be that. I tried to think about the things she likes, the things she enjoys etc and get bits from each of those as well as book ‘experiences’ like the holiday etc.
