Bullied

I was bullied in secondary school.

I was a quiet person. At times I got hit too. Pens thrown at me. I didn't tell anyone. Just carried on going to school and back home.

Once I got beaten up by a group of girls - never knew who they were but from the same school when I was waiting for my mum to come get me.

I was the type that just got on with my work. Quiet.

Now - I'm married , have a good job and have a baby.

Keep thinking back and I worry about the future of my baby. Not over worry but it's at the back of my mind.

I hope she doesn't get bullied or treated badly. I hope no one does.

Do other mums think or get worried about their child being bullied?

Sorry if this is a silly question. Ftm.

Not a silly question at all - I wasn't bullied at school and I really worry about my kids being bullied. Schools are much better with dealing with these things now (in my experience).
I have to work on not projecting my insecurities about it onto my kids - not always successfully!
