Brighton recommendations?

Booked 4 nights in Brighton for the week after next. Staying at the Brighton Harbour Hotel. I’ve booked most of our dinners due to eat out to help out they were getting booked up.

Now looking for recommendations for things to do while we’re there and any day trips that are worth a drive. We like sitting in bars drinking cocktails, having a wander around nice shops, maybe a spot of crazy golf or similar. A beautiful rooftop bar would be great.

We’ll be doing a day at Camber Sands on our way home (weather dependent) to get to a sandy beach

Ditchling Beacon/Devils Dyke is a lovely walk (no shade though so don't pick the hottest day to do it) you can drive to. I think the pub at Devils dyke has reopened too.

The walk from the Marina to Saltdean is nice as well. Plenty of nice casual lunch places at the marina with a view of the boats.

I'm not sure what the Laines are like atm with social distancing.

That’s good to hear about Devils Dyke, that was on my list for a long walk option one day. Definitely like the sound of a pub lunch at the end as well!
