Can a miscarriage mess with your cycles?

Hi mamas, I had a mmc in April and was given medication to help my body pass the fetus. I lost the baby on April 8th. My period seemed to return to normal a month later, until this month I was 5 days late on my 32 day cycle (unusual) and thought I might be pregnant again, but after a very faint positive (and what may have been an evaporation line), I got my period. Then 6 days after that period I passed one or two more blood clots, and bled very lightly for 4 days. What is happening? Did I possibly have another miscarriage this month, or is it still my cycles attempting to return to normal? If I ovulate in the next few days, can I still ttc without there being additional risk? Totally overthinking this all, but so badly want to have another baby. I have a DS who is almost 2 yrs 3 months now.
