Hi going to get 1 on finger and 1 on hand

Which tattoos
OP posts:
NekoShiro · 30/07/2020 13:38

Personally I'd get the lil bat on my finger, none of those on my hand though

Lubeylube · 30/07/2020 13:38

I guess it depends what your interests are. I would have the paw print but then I have dogs that mean a lot to me. So basically whichever one is relevant to you.

JudyGemstone · 30/07/2020 13:40

Probably none but then I wouldn't get an 'off the shelf' tattoo now.

Dragonfly and triquetra

From my extensive experience of watching inkmaster! I would say the hands and fingers are hard to get done well and go blobby over time. So something as simple as possible. Also agree it should be something that means something significant to you.

RunningFromInsanity · 30/07/2020 13:48

Hands and fingers tattoos will fade And go blue very quickly.

They are very cliche options, tattoos should have meanings.
No point getting a music note if you aren’t into music. Stupid getting a paw print if you hate dogs.

VanillaSpiceCandle · 30/07/2020 14:37

I vote none of them because if you have to ask strangers on the internet - you’ll regret it. I love tattoos but wait until you find something you want on your body forever.

Hiccupiscal · 30/07/2020 14:53

None. They're all generic, and in a year or so will become a blobby mess.
Dont do it.... advice from someone who loves tattoos

lockdownrainbow · 30/07/2020 20:54

I already have 12 small tattoos i love them all

ChinookPilotsGoVertical · 30/07/2020 21:39

Don't do it!
If you're having to canvass ransoms as to which emoji to get you need to give it some more thought imo.

ItchyScratch · 30/07/2020 21:43

From experience. (I have a full sleeve)

Pick a tattoo that means something to you.
Never pick a random tat.
You don’t have to pick off a sheet. Draw your own or find something online.

And don’t forget how much of an arse the healing process is (3/4 weeks) so to have that on your hand will be such a faff not being able to get it wet and keeping it creamed up.

indemMUND · 30/07/2020 23:01

Why ask for opinions? It's your body, you choose. You'll be stuck with it. With regard to PPs I have a hand tattoo that's 4 years old. It's still black and hasn't faded at all. It's not something chosen from a sheet either.

SuperPixie247 · 30/07/2020 23:17

I have a lot of tattoos but if I were to get a hand tattoo it would have to be such a carefully decision. Please think this through, it isn't a good sign asking people on the internet to choose this for you.

whiplashy · 31/07/2020 01:41

🤦🏾‍♀️

MulticolourMophead · 31/07/2020 01:43

I wouldn't have any on fingers or hands. Or feet or toes, for that matter.

I have tattoos elsewhere, and they are individual designs. I did one design myself. Wouldn't have a generic design now.

Catsup · 31/07/2020 02:26

Hands/fingers always fade and blur very quickly. I know several people with ring tattoo's on fingers and they all just look like a faded blob. Too much natural exposure to the elements and handwashing to ever look good after a few years.

Gulsink · 31/07/2020 08:13

The recycle logo, twice.

Gulsink · 31/07/2020 08:16

Have you tried 'Wingdings' on Microsoft word, it may give you more options.

Craftycorvid · 31/07/2020 08:21

On your hands I’d think really carefully about what you want to display. And I do think it’d be a shame to get something really generic. Even a small piece could be designed to be very personal and placed carefully so it looks its best.
