DC is getting their first mobile. I have bought it but not handed it over yet (it is still a secret) while I get it set up.
I have installed the family link app on my phone as a parent and on the new phone as a child.
in the parent interface I have set some controls for websites, but on the new device these controls are not being applied and the device will go to websites I want to block - but I realised that the new device doesn't have the child signed in to their account on chrome so thought that must be why. However when I try to sign in, it says it can only sign in to a G suite for Education account which seems to be a thing for schools - do I have to register as a school or is there another way to do this?
