Can I show off please??

Just finished my lockdown project and want to show it off!!!

Years and years ago I started a cross stitch (been stitching since i was little) but life got in the way and it got put to one side after only doing a tiny bit of it. Then went back to it about a year ago to find i had made a mistake that involved taking like 3/4 of the work that id done back. So it got put to one side again 😂

Decided to start it again at the start of lockdown, and have finished it just in time for work to be picking up again!

Anyone else have lockdown projects that they want to show off?

I started a x stitch project in late 2002, intended as a wedding present for my husband to be.

We have now been divorced 4 years and I found it in the garage at the weekend, about 1/4 completed.

Wow! Quite rightly proud of your work! Is that the sort done on a blank canvas?

Yeah its blank aida material, with a paper pattern that I follow! My mum laughs at me because i call it my map

Im a bit lost now for what to do in the evenings!

Accidently started 2 threads, realised straight away and asked mn to delete one, and between mn deleting the thread, everyone commented on the one that was then deleted! So now i lost all my nice comments!

Maybe i should stick to needlework instead of technology...
