If so, I have the cure!

Make arrangements to finally see your friends. Arrange a babysitter. Buy yourself a new outfit.

After being up to 3 weeks late each cycle, guess who has arrived promptly this morning? AF and she’s brought ALL her favourite friends too- cramping, flooding, spots, rage Angry

Just want to lie in bed, watch Titanic and cry.

I have no advice but just wanted to say that I feel your pain!

I've been going through the same thing and it's so frustrating.

Get yourself a huge bar of chocolate and whack on Netflix.

It is interesting this thing about lockdown and menstrual cycles. I think I've gone from peri to full on menopause. Nada for 3 months now. Feels very abrupt. I'm only 45. Wasn't quite prepared for it yet. Should be pleased if I'm done with all that stuff but feels weird.

I made a thread on MN after not having a period for about 60 days (my normal cycle is 24 days)
It made a guest appearance the next day...and made up for the missing one😩

In the immortal words of Jess Day, I feel like a fat man is sitting on my uterus

I was so looking forward to today as well!

My period the last couple of months has been coming about a week late when I'm normally regular. I'm 38.

This is interesting!

I had the implant out last year and i put it down to body not being back to normal after that, but i have only had one very light period since March and that was at the beginning. Defo no chance of being pregnant.

If lockdown is affecting it then why do we think that is? Just being out of routine send stressed? I can remember at the grand old age of 18 not having a period for 6 months when I moved to university. I've had the implant back to back since then so maybe my natural state is either just very fucked up or never was that regular?!

I've been regular as clockwork all the way through until this month when I'm now 2 weeks late! I spent the first week panicking and taking pregnancy tests (thankfully negative!) and now I'm scared to go anywhere in case it puts in an untimely appearance Hmm

I'm 40 though so maybe this is peri menopause.

Mine has changed from end of the month as it’s been for years to mid month Confused happened just before lockdown came to an end. Very weird and I was caught totally off guard. Maybe the change in routine caused my uterus not to know what date it was Grin

The last couple of periods I've had have been pretty fecking horrible. I usually might need one dose, perhaps two of paracetamol. The last one I needed prescribed painkillers.

Overall, they've been different though - not so much hormonal acne flare ups, they turn up earlier and mood swings have been better, so swings and round abouts I guess.

I have put on a bit of weight though. Don't know if that made a difference.
