Moving between different areas and social housing?

Hi!

Does anyone have any experience with moving areas and switching between different housing associations? We live in one area with one housing association and we want to move back somewhere else and apparently you can request your housing association to see if they can arrange for you to go with one of the housing associations in your new area (if they have any availability). Has anyone done this or know how it works?

Contact your housing association and ask them would be my advice. All will have different policies.

Look on the house exchange websites. Facebook have them, you might be able to swap with another tennant.
